Multi-output regressions

Hi. I’ve recently been enhancing LGBM with regression trees by adding linear regressions at the leaves. From an inference perspective this is equivalent to a multi-output regression. I can add up all the models before multiplying the model by the linear inputs. How hard would it be to do a multi-output tree?
