We have 1d data/spectra coming from detectors that needs to be plotted normalised to a single 0d value (storage ring current or other scalar counters). It would be nice to allow 1d data of the same shape as well as 0d scalar values as "Monitor" in the GUI interface. Our current workaround is to expand the 0d data to 1d which creates much larger files than necessary.
