LESSON 10, ERROR WHILE DEPLOYING SITE WITH FLEEK

The default directory while deploying to fleek should be "Out" right? Cos it contains those html files and all that but When i try deploying with fleek, after almost getting done, it brings up this error even when i already input "out" as my directory.. This error says

10:07:52 AM 08/31/2022: An error occured during upload: Public directory does not exist.
10:08:15 AM 08/31/2022: Error occured during the upload.

How do i solve this issue of public directory?

@alymurtazamemon i ran "yarn next export", the "out" folder came up, thats the directory i've been using to Deploy.. But at the end as its almost deployed, it shows that error above..

@Benrockiee Hey! Is your issue resolved? I noticed one thing your repo does not contain the out directory and Fleek looks for it. You need to remove it from the .gitignore file in order to upload it to GitHub so Fleek and get it.

@alymurtazamemon Yeah thanks, its fixed now, my "out" directory was hidden inside gitignore.. But i removed it and pushed to git again.. But im wondering why after deploying to the site and all, if i connect to metamask, the localhost finds it hard to load.. It used to do that when i was on my therminal but i opened nodes and it stops, as its deployed now, is it still expecting a node spin up? Cos it should work..

Bro,you really mess it up.Out directory only shows up after npm export is down,fleek pull code first,and then build so out directory shows up.
I'm facing the same problem,what should i do.

Hi everyone, I am having some issues on different project but it is related to Fleek and next js. Issue is the following, I am fetching my data from mongo db via api routes to render display some contents. Because Fleek can only host static content I am unable to deploy the app. Has anyone came across this issue in past? Thanks in advance

one last thing, when I deploy direct to IPFS why my CSS didn't work as it does when is running in localhost:300?

hi all, running into the same issue. removing /dist from .gitignore did not help.
