Solana token created via ubuntu-github method but no pull request for token list.

I used a guide online to create a token on the solana blockchain, however, the last step im facing is creating a pull request on solana labs token list, it states its "read only since July 2022."

Is it possible to merge my respository? Or how do I add my token with image and name to solana blockchain?
