Desktop client shows times in UTC+2:00

I'm running windows x64 desktop client v 0.2.7.0, and using the solidtime cloud service. I can use the start/stop button to track the time for a time entry. However, all the task are shown with times in UTC+2:00. I'm at UTC-7:00, so these times are 9 hours ahead of my time. If I edit an entry, or manually add an entry, I must enter the times (and dates) in UTC+2:00.

When viewing these entries via a web browser, the times show up correctly in my local time (as long as I have my time zone set correctly of course).

The desktop app should just reuse the timezone setting in https://app.solidtime.io/user/profile however UTC+2 is the fallback currently. Can you tell me what it is set to exactly (I assume some UTC-7:00 timezone)? There might be a problem with parsing a certain timezone.

Otherwise I'll have to see if I can reproduce it on a windows machine, it seems to work on macOS for every timezone I tested.

I checked again and my time zone (in solidtime web interface) is set to UTC-7. I again quit and restarted the desktop app and the problem remains.

However, it occurred to me to look for solidtime processes. I closed the app. Windows TaskManager still shows 1 solidtime process with 6 sub-processes. I killed this process and then restarted the app. The times shown in the app now show in UTC-7!

So it's resolved for me. But it would be nice if the app would update that setting from the server when it changes. And why is solidtime still running a background process after I have closed the app?
