How to add the "Asset Distinguishing Information"?

Thanks for the great project. I am new to NMOS. What's the right way to add the "Asset Distinguishing Information"? I saw it is defined in the following file, but can't find where it is used. Is there any example/doc? Thank you so much!

They're used in the tags field of Node and Device resources. As per the spec, most of the asset tags are used in both, just the functions are only used to describe Devices.

Yes, node_tags and device_tags can be used directly from nmos-cpp-node example app settings. There's also an example of adding them with code in NVIDIA/nvnmos:
