Feedback for conan CCI version & recipe update needed #464

Hey,
for more visibility besides mentioning three names there, I want to mention that I started conan-io/conan-center-index#28340 here. Was thinking earlier: let's create an nmos-cpp recipe for CCI and then I started with searching for nmos in the repo and saw it is already there. So I only saw the need to do some updates.
As layed out there, it is cleaning out some older versions (which does only mean they don't receive updates via recipe changes, they still are available via conan install ...). Also removes some legacy conan code & finally makes it mac-buildable, which was the main reason to just create a new version.
Would be nice if I can get some feedback on the 1.5 questions (both comments are related to the same thing). I'd like to understand why the heavy avahi dependency is forced hiding the default_options entry by default which took me a few minutes to find when seeing deps failing to build.
P.S. Thanks for your work. Just started to play around with a few BMD 2110 components and the easy-nmos docker and it just after starting is auto-detected and allows for a really quick start with nmos.
