Install instructions should cover following identified issues

  • 1. matlab is already installed and is same version as runtime
  • 2. maltab is already installed and is different version as runtime
  • 3. matlab is not installed
  • 4. python is already installed
  • 5. user wants to retain 2 versions of python on computer
  • 6. python is not already installed
  • 7. any update to paths should be documented
  • 8. anything that requires admin rights should be documented
  • 9. what version of python should be installed
  • 10. numpy dependencies

  1. python version 3.9 -3.12., not installed from windows store
  • tick custom installation
  • make available for all users
  • add to path on base install screen
  1. MATLAB runtime 2024
  • needs admin rights
  • needs to alter user environment variable to runtime 2024 is used regardless of MATLAB version that is already installed
