👋 My open source journey is not unique. I early on discovered folks on GitHub and the open Internet just as interested in the things I was. What an exciting time to be a software engineer! We are so fortunate to be a part of this new medium - let's make the most of it together.

⚛️ My early interest in UI development and component libraries had me maintain https://github.com/pattern-lab/patternlab-node for many years. I learned so much and met many friends. I moved my family to a different state due to that work.

⚡ I've transitioned into back-of-the-front-end work and mentoring others. Enabling folks to grow, contribute, and be successful is now a part of my role and aligns with what gives me energy. Highlights include mentoring Grace Hopper attendees make their first open source contributions.

🚀 🐢 Most of my work of late is with https://nodejs.org - where I help maintain the site and also site on the Web Infra, Triage, and Moderation teams.
