Unable to destroy lab after changing node name when it is running

I accidentally changed the name of one of nodes in clab.yaml file when the lab was deployed. Now I am unable to fully destroy the lab, as the destroy command leaves the old-named node existing. Running the destroy command with --name and --keep-mgmt-net does not help.

I my opinion clab.yaml files should be only used for deployment. After that, containerlab should remember what topology it is running for each lab and use that knowledge during destroy (so destroy command should operate on lab names, not on topology files).

you would normally find a backup clab file in /tmp/.clab/bak but unfortunately there is a bug and this backup function was left out and is not triggered in the versions since 0.70

I will bring it back.

for the moment, you can remove containers directly with:

docker ps -q --filter "name=clab-poc-" | xargs -r docker rm -f

adjust the filter on the name accordingly
