@Corgile Thanks for asking!
Indeed, we want to rewrite heiFIP preferably in Rust. However, this might take a bit until we deliver the first release. If you are interested, we are looking for contributors for this project.

I'm willing to contribute. I can do cpp but if you want Rust I can give it a shot. What are the slowest parts that need to be optimized?

@PierceKlugs Very welcome! Currently, Rust is not set, but since I also develop in Cpp, both are fine. The "slowest part" is the packet manipulation step—reading packets (currently using Scapy), removing headers, randomizing IPs, etc.
