Description of the bug

I did the latest update of Sublime and several files are gone.
After the update those files didn't came back.
I looked at Recent and there they were still listed but after clicking on them they all seemed empty.
This is quite an URGENT problem as I worked two days on several files and don't have any backup; all my work was in Sublime.
How can I recover those files??
Please help a.s.a.p

Regards,

René

The only files and directories touched (deleted and replaced) by updates are those in ST's installation directory (e.g.: C:\Program Files\Sublime Text).

It is therefore not recommended to store any work files, settings or anything else of worth in that directory.

Only exception is an optional Data directory, which is used by portable version to store settings and packages.

Folders and files outside mentioned install directory are not touched.

ST creates a zipped backup of old installation folder content in recycle bin.
