How to use state outside of .svelte file?

I have the following file:

export function createAuthStore() {
	return {
		get state() {
			return state;
		},
		set state(value: null | boolean) {
			state = value;
		}
	};
}

Now that

is merged, what would be the alternative to this syntax?

That PR should not affect rune usage.
It is supposed to error on store auto-subscriptions using $-syntax.

Well, uh for some reason, i cant use state outside of .svelte files

Looks like a bug to me. Not sure how that is not caught by tests, though...

That might be triggered because the variable has the same name as the rune => $ + variable == store subscription. Would recommend renaming it.
But I am getting some errors even if the name is changed...

I think this should work since it's allowed in .svelte files. Opened an issue about it here:
