"The Bundle System" missing very important infos

That page is missing a lot of information, so that you can't make your own bundle just reading it.

E.g.:

• The bundle have to be in a /bundles directory
• Some config has to be made in the main composer.json
• Indicated composer.json config is aimed toward bundle's composer.json

As a more general issue, eveything is said to how to structure the bundle itself... But nothing on how to integrate it into Symfony.

I'm guessing that's a problem.

Unfortunately I don't think I have enough expertise on that subject to change the docs (I only managed to make one work and that's already a few hours of step debugging and AI help)

This page states that it's about “Bundles used in your applications”, so it should have only one composer.json file.

There may be a misunderstanding here, if I understand correctly this page doesn’t describe third-party bundles like https://symfony.com/bundles/StofDoctrineExtensionsBundle/current/index.html that very often have code in src/, and are installed through composer.

There is another page for reusable bundles: https://symfony.com/doc/current/bundles/best_practices.html

Well, actually I'm also confused, if we follow this directory structure https://symfony.com/doc/7.3/bundles.html#bundle-directory-structure we would end up with files from the project next to files for the bundle. So I agree that a review is required.
