How to use custom component as trigger for popover

I have component <CustomTrigger onClick={...} prop1={...} prop2={...}/> and i would like to use it as a trigger for popover. Like this

<Popover.Button as={<CustomTrigger onClick={...} prop1={...} prop2={...}/>}/>

But it seems impossible. I would not like to use some weird patterns like refs.click or wrapping button inside button. It possible ?
