print:hidden not working in Safari

I'm using Svelte 5.38.0 (Sveltekit 2.27.3) and Tailwindcss 4.1.11

Don't print me!

In this really simple test page, Safari (OS X) failed to hide the div. Chrome did fine.

To fix it, I had to add this in my app.css:

@media print {
  .print\:hidden {
    display: none;
  }
}

Has anyone experience this?

I've also just found that print:shadow-none also does't work. So it seems the whole "print:" variant doesn't work for Safari.
