increase maximum file number even further?

Hello, thanks for the modified firmware. Mode 3 is exactly what I was looking for and it works without any problems. Is it possible to increase the maximum file number even further, to 10000 or even higher?
Unfortunately I didn't manage to install everything properly, so I could not compile it myself. Could you perhaps provide a version? I'm currently using this for the 2 hour change.
