.TH FLOW 1
.SH NAME
\fBflow\fR - generates NetFlow V5 packets from .pcap web traffic capture files and exports it to the given NetFlow collector.
.SH SYNOPSIS
.B flow
[\-f <file>][\-c <collector_ip>:<port>]][\-a <active_timer>][\-i <inactive_timer>][\-m <cache_size>]
.SH DESCRIPTION
Flow is a NetFlow V5 generator meant to be used with packet capture files (.pcap). The program supports UDP, TCP and ICMP packets. Flow takes an input file under the -f argument flag (see lower). Without the
-f flag, the program reads input from STDIN, where you can redirect said .pcap file. Other ways of input are not supported. Flow then begins to analyze the packets
from the supplied capture, creates flows based on remaining program arguments and exports the flows to a NetFlow collector IP specified via -c argument.
If the collector is unavailable but the connection is established successfully, the program still works normally. During the process, status messages are printed to STDOUT.
.SH OPTIONS
.TP
.BR \-f \fI\fR
Specifies input file path.
Default: STDIN
.TP
.BR \-c\fI\fR
Specifies collector IP address and port as \fBcollector_ip:port\fR.
Default: 127.0.0.0:2055
.TP
.BR \-a\fI\fR
Specifies the active timer in seconds. This timer starts with the first packet of the flow and once it runs out, the flow gets exported.
Default: 60 [seconds]
.TP
.BR \-i\fI\fR
Specifies the inactive timer in seconds. Inactive timer runs out when a flow has not had new incoming packets for this given time interval. Once this triggers, the flow gets exported.
Default: 10 [seconds]
.TP
.BR \-m\fI\fR
Specifies the maximum count of flows in the program's cache memory.
Default: 1024 [flows]
.TP
.BR \-h\fI\fR
