🙋 Seeking a co-maintainer / partner (or new owner)

I'm stepping back from active, day-to-day development on this project and looking for a co-maintainer / partner — and I'm open to handing it over entirely to the right person.

Why: the app turned out to be easy to use, which is great — but it also means feature requests could quickly outpace the time I have. I'd rather be honest about that than let the issue tracker fill up with requests I can't get to.

What I'm looking for

• Someone who uses Reticulum/LXMF and wants to help keep this client alive, or take it over.
• Comfortable with plain ES modules / browser APIs (Web Bluetooth, Web Serial), no framework.

What I'll do for a partner

• Add you as a collaborator (or transfer the repo).
• Review and merge reasonable PRs during a transition.
• Answer questions and help you get up to speed on the LXMF/Link/Resource internals.

Setting expectations in the meantime

• Bug reports with a clear repro: welcome.
• Feature requests: PRs welcome, but I can't promise to implement requests myself. This is a small project I maintain in my spare time.

The core development is moving towards Android application + RNode + Repeater firmware because this is what is probably mostly used? Or is there some other specific reason for stepping back?

Yes. This is a unique project with no other similar replacements and a good gateway for users to Reticulum, so I don't want to kill it. The android app is close to going live on f-droid, so I need to clear the deck. Honestly, I would not mind someone taking over the firmware as well.

I think the firmware itself should not be given away '(or take it over)' like currently advertised here: thatSFguy/reticulum-rnode@368521d

Like you see for example in the Meshtastic project, it is important to have firmware and application developed hand in hand. When the person who develops the application is also the person who develop the firmware that communicate with the application, this would result in a better polished outcome.
