For attempt-by-attempt events, namely FMC and Multi-Blind, no-shows are first entered as DNS and are only quit from the round if they do not show up for all the attempts. Once the scoretaker is aware that they are a no-show, they clear the DNS results and then quit them.
It would be nice if quitting be done in one step. What I have in mind is to replace the current error message when you enter all DNS results with a message that asks if you want to remove the competitor from the round, and lets you do that with a click of a button. This would reduce errors of mistakenly quitting competitors with a combination of DNF and DNS results, or quitting the wrong competitor after clearing their results.
