not working as Thunderbird-Plugin, but working as Standalone

Hi there,

I just (re)installed this plugin to Thunderbird because the addon stopped working one day. When I click "Connect", the progress bar just keeps animating forever.
I stumbled upon the standalone version, (win32), unzipped it, imported the settings from Thunderbird, entered the password: connected.

Now I wonder what the hell is wrong with my Thunderbird. I have completely disabled Win Firewall, no changes.

Do you have any idea how to debug this "feature"?

This is no Major Issue (for me), since i have the standalone app, which is doing it's Job fine!

There is currently no release which is compatible with Thunderbird 102 and up, it is simply broken. The corresponding issue is #763
