Threaded view should always display the first mail of the thread

Problem you are trying to solve

threaded mails are usually displaying the first mail of the thread when collapsed.
This way it is easy to find a conversation/mail-series (like a cover-letter).

Suggested solution

When sorting the inbox (threaded view) keep first mail of a thread as the one being displayed.
If a new mail in the threaded hasn't been read, make the "entire thread" not read (threaded view)

Thank for the report and the request for change.
We're rebuilding the message list and updating how we handle threads to be more intuitive.
In general, we evaluated the direction of our product and agreed that the email listed in a collapsed thread should always be the most recently received to correctly reflect the chronological order of received messages.

sorry but i am a bit confused by your reply:

I am specifically asking for collapsed thread to not display the most recently received message but the first one of the thread, (or at least make this choice possible via settings)

(i am confused because this is marked as completed, as in will be taken in account, but the comment says something else)
