Support 5 GHz on TP-Link Archer T2E? #342
Comments
I think it should be working on 5 GHz too. |
Checked with dual band wi-fi router. It didn't connect to 5 GHz SSID but connected to 2,4 GHz. Same router, same password, the only difference was one symbol in SSID. Cannot re-check because upgraded to Debian 12, which supports Archer T2E out-of-the-box. |
It wouldn't be the router specific problem I think. |
This is wireless network card, not router. |
@AlekseiPrishchepo Then its not a repo of Archer T2E. Its repo of rtl8821ce. |
Archer T2E has RTL8821CE chip. |
Thanks for the driver. It seems like it's enabling only 2,4 GHz transmitter. Is there a way to make it work with 5 GHz AP?
