Output amplitude adjustment

Is there any way to increase the amplitude on recorded audio? I get lots of great cuts but some are hard to hear without cranking the volume on my PC all the way up. Fantastic project and thanks for the great effort.

There is no such option yet, but I'll will add one soon.

However having such low volume is not a good sign in general, capture volume may be way too low for reliable detections. How much activity do you see on volume level indicator on main page? Volume indicator should reach at least to 9 or 12 o'clock positions with good capture input levels.

If you are using Linux make sure that you increase capture level to maximum using alsamixer.

The volume indicator is pretty active. It ranges from close to zero, with a maximum of just under 65%. Most of the time it runs from 0 to 30%. The Northern Cardinal wouldn't need much increase in gain, but the morning dove and eastern bluebird are a couple of birds that get good recording, but the volume is very low. I was playing with sox in linux and increasing the volume on a few files and things sound good. I could increase the volume by a factor as much as 13 with the mourning dove before I start to get clipping. I'm recording using rtsp from two armcrest cameras. I'm very surprised at how well they seem to be working. The only thing that seems to give a lot of false positives is the rock pigeon.

Gain control is now in, it will be included in tonights nigthly build. Tested to work with desktop view, mobile view has known issues and will be fixed later.

Just tried it out. The gain adjustment works well on the computer.
