I don't seem to find any operation for removing Gaussian functions in the code. Does this method not remove Gaussian functions during the entire training process? Does it only convert dead Gaussians into alive Gaussians?

The growth rate of the number of Gaussians is fixed by 5% for each 100 iterations

As @cmh1027 mentioned, we increase the number of Gaussians by only 5% and also specify the maximum number of Gaussians before the training. You can also increase the Gaussians based on the training trajectory, although that is not part of the code at the moment.
