Shiftfiles are files of the *.em format. A shiftfile contains the shifts needed to align oriented references to each selected particle on each projection of a tilt stack. Shiftfiles are generated during projection-matching using EmSARTRefine.
Shiftfiles are N x M x 2 matrices of type int for N particles on M projections. For each particle on each projection the following information is stored:
