No longer background color on blocks

I have tested this on a cards block and a half-sized text block. There's no longer a background color showing but the text still changes color as if the background color had changed.

Also, this page highlights why I created the other issue/enhancement about adding an option for smaller icons to be shown on card blocks. Those big icons look ridiculous 😄
