At Uppsala Social Robotics lab we aim to design and develop robots that learn to interact socially with humans and bring benefits to the society we live in, for example in application areas such as education, e-learning, healthcare and assistive technology. {: .text-center}
November 2024 Marc Fraile successfully defended his PhD thesis and became a USRL alumnus. Congratulations Dr. Fraile!
September 2024 Hong Wang has joined our lab as a PhD student!

March 2023 Natalia Calvo Barajas co-organized the 2nd version of the Workshop: CRITTER: Child-Robot Interaction and interdisciplinary research.
March 2023 Anastasia's abstract got accepted for participation in the same workshop.
March 2023 Natalia Calvo Barajas was recognized as an "outstanding reviewer" based on her contributions to the peer-review process of the ACM/IEEE International Conference on Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), 2023.
