Hello,
My computer (macOS 12.5) has multiple users. Instead of having each user create separate vm's (of macOS), each taking up large chunks of disk space, I would like to have each user be able to use the same vm (not at the same time). I copied the macOS.utm file into a public folder and changed all the file and folder permissions to allow universal read/write/execute access. While I am able to add the vm to UTM via File->Open..., it cannot run the vm and gives an error:
"Error
Invalid virtual machine configuration.
Failed to open auxiliary storage."
Is it possible to allow sharing of the vm among all of the users of the computer? If so, are there steps that I am missing? And if not, would it be possible to add this possibility as an enhancement?
Also, the same question applies for other OS vm's. I would like all of the users be able to use the same instance of Ubuntu vm as well, for example.
Thank you.
