Slow compilation for channel-last specs #971

Thomas Flinklow gave me the following channel-last version of the dice specification. Vehicle is forced to go back to solving per pixel per channel instead of just per channel.

No idea how we would support fast compilation but at some point, we're probably going to have to think about it as some machine learning frameworks do have channel last by default.
