Status bar text colors

Hey there, I really liked the dark theme and texts are unreadable with this current state of the theme.

For now I tweaked with colors but it would be nicer if the theme itself does that.

Hi @MudulOzan and thanks for your feedback! The contrast and lightness in the theme are based on years of testing and tweaking. It’s not possible to please everyone with every aspect of the theme (there are many factors to consider, like HDR screens, brightness level, screen NITS etc...), what is unreadable for your may be too bright for others. So, you can use the VS Code theme customizations API to personalize the theme to your liking. Check out our guide here for more details.

The main keys you are looking for are 'statusBar.foreground' and 'statusBar.debuggingForeground', you can set any shade of gray or other custom colors!
