.bat and .bash files share the same icon — likely incorrect

I noticed that both .bat and .bash files are shown with the same icon in Vira. Since .bat files are Windows batch scripts and .bash files are Unix/Linux shell scripts, it seems odd that they share a visual identity.

This likely isn't intentional and might be a fallback or mapping issue.

Additionally, the PowerShell script icon (.ps1) appears to be the same as the icons used for Unix shell scripts like .sh or .zsh, which can be confusing in cross-platform projects.

Let me know if you'd prefer this to be logged as an icon request instead — thanks for the great work on the theme!

Hey there! Right now, we’ve got just two general icons for script files, like the ones you see in the screenshot. We’re really hoping to spruce them up, but there are a few platform-specific limitations. As you pointed out, bash is for Unix/Linux, which doesn’t have an official logo or icon to use, unlike .bat, which can be linked to the Microsoft logo and colors.

Said that here our suggestion for the change:

Option 1

• bat, cmd and ps1 -> Microsoft logo or colors recall
• bash keeps the current icon (blue)
• sh and zsh keep the current icon (gray)

Option 2 (less intrusive)

• bat, cmd, ps1 -> Current blue icon
• bash, sh and zsh -> Current gray icon

The option 2 is what we like the most because introducing more colors in such small image brings confusion and cognitive load.

Thanks for laying that out — Option 2 sounds perfect to me as a balance between clarity and simplicity.

Using blue for .bat, .cmd, and .ps1 and gray for the Unix shells (.bash, .sh, .zsh) keeps things easy to parse without overwhelming with too many visuals.

And totally agree — trying to cram too many colors into small icons can quickly backfire.

If down the line there's interest in distinguishing PowerShell a bit more, it could always be revisited — but this works great for now.

We think the current icon is perfect for Powershell yet, because powershell app is blue by default, this means changing the others 2 icons: bat and cmd to something different. The main goal is to differentiate unix/linux scripts from windows scripts
