Not working in android/termux

I'm trying to use it in termux but I can't run it

I installed go Lang first then ran the $ go get -u github.com/vishen/go-chromecast

After that when I run any go-chromecast it just prompt command not found, I don't know if it's an android problem, path or termux, tried everything and unfortunately wasn't able to make it work

I'm don't know much about termux, but it may be possible that Go just doesn't work properly on that.

Have you tried using one of the releases? If not can you try downloading and trying one of the releases? There are amd64, arm64 and armv{6,7} releases depending on the architecture you need: https://github.com/vishen/go-chromecast/releases/tag/v0.3.1

I was able to install ane and run it from releases.
However under normal circumstances it does not work.

$ go-chromecast ui
error: unable to get cast application: unable to find cast dns entry: unable to create new zeroconf resolver: udp4: failed to join any of these interfaces: []

It works with sudo, though.
Obviously some permissions problem related to UDP.

Unfortunately, capabilities seem not to work (sudo setcap 'cap_net_raw,cap_net_admin=eip' $(which go-chromecast)).

Years ago (on a 32 bit phone) I used https://github.com/barnybug/go-cast, which did not have this problem IIRC, and still was able to discover devices 🤷

Still, go-chromecast is a very powerful tool, thanks so much for your efforts @vishen!
