Doesn't seem to work with go 1.23.4

I don't know if I'm doing this right but I tried to install it on my Mac with "go install github.com/vishen/go-chromecast@latest" on my Mac, and afterwards I still couldn't run the command. I am using Go 1.23.4 btw.

This looks like an issue with your Go setup on mac. It sounds like wherever go install is putting the binaries is not in your PATH env. I would check to see if how you've configured Go to install binaries and ensure that that path is in your PATH.

@atdanielthemaniel - have a fix for you as it looks like GOROOT and GOPATH wasn't configured. I can confirm this was an issue for me as well on my M4 Mac Mini with an old install:

To fix it correctly, I reinstalled Go per the official docs and finished up the shell command mappings by adding the correct paths to my shell config like so:

echo 'export PATH="$GOPATH/bin:$GOROOT/bin:$PATH"' >> $HOME/.zshrc

Now it works as expected:

p.s. @vishen since this isn't a bug, I'd recommend maybe adding a line to the docs to help others when stuck? Since this cli command probably has a lot of people who are completely unfamiliar with go and are unlikely to learn it, it might help if the readme linked to docs to help, e.g. the guide on setting GOPATH.
