Showing Love for VUI

V's default UI is still a very good idea and works on many platforms. Years ago, Coderlyfe (YouTube) showed it off and spoke of it more highly (though still in Alpha) than comparable offerings.

VUI is very viable for creating programs, has many great features (like BoxLayout, widgets, etc...), and just needs more polish. Going from alpha to beta. In fact, a lot more has been done on it than is obvious from the roadmap (which needs updating).

It hasn't gotten a lot of love recently because nobody has worked on it.

True, however, the primary issue appears to be awareness. The recent release of VUI documentation, was a good start, but long overdue and either needs to be more extensive or supplemented by more comments in the code.
