There are many improvements coming to pytorch compilation in torch 2.9. We should make sure we take advantage of all such improvements on day 0, as well as verify there aren't any additional bugs we'd have to wait until 2.10 to fix. Some examples: - piecewise cudagraph and fullgraph compilation compatibility - Inductor bug fixes - Inductor generated Triton improvements
