[Docs] MultiCompiler hooks table overflows horizontally on mobile #8429

Description

@ShaikAyub7

Bug description

The MultiCompiler hooks table on the Node API documentation overflows horizontally on small/mobile screens.

On mobile devices, long type definitions in the Type column are wider than the available table width. This causes the content to overflow outside the visible table area and makes some of the type information difficult to read.

For example:

  • SyncHook<[MultiStats, Compiler[]]>
  • AsyncSeriesHook<[]>
  • SyncHook<[string | null, number]>

The issue is visible in the MultiCompiler hooks section.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open https://webpack.js.org/api/node/
  2. Navigate to the MultiCompiler hooks section.
  3. Open the page on a mobile device or use a narrow viewport in browser DevTools.
  4. Observe the hooks table.

Expected behavior

The table should remain usable on small screens without causing the page/content to overflow horizontally.

Long type definitions should either:

  • wrap within the table cell,
  • allow controlled horizontal scrolling for the table, or
  • use another responsive table layout suitable for mobile screens.

Actual behavior

Long type definitions in the Type column extend beyond the available viewport width, causing horizontal overflow/clipping.

    @h55n

    I'd like to work on this. I'll check the hooks table at mobile widths, keep the desktop layout unchanged, and add a regression check for long type definitions. I'll share narrow-screen screenshots and run the site's tests before opening a PR.
