Splitting the topics

The blocks are structured according to topics (Math, Programming, Data collection,...) and each one has different subtopics. The problem I see is that each one of these subtopics are so extent that having everything in a webpage can be overwhelming and difficult to handle, but splitting it in sub sub topics will make the menu on the left side quite useless. I would create Blocks for every topic, each with separated webpage and menus, where the new topics are the old subtopics and each menu lists only from that level down.
Does anyone has an alternative?
