Anyone got this plugin working?

I'm doing everything this tutorial says, and I can confirm that the addition of my cache control headers is executing but in the response whatever i try i got:

max-age=0, must-revalidate, no-cache, no-store, private

This is when I return blade view.
When I return just plain text like "test" the headers are fine ...
