Code completion with prediction

Hello,

I find it very confusing that sometimes the completion is tab and sometimes it is alt+tab. Based on the documentation, it should only be alt+tab if language server has suggestions. However, I have noticed that it is inconsistent for me. For example, see this screenshot:

There were no other suggestions, but the prediction suggested using alt+tab.

And then when I use alt+tab, the second completion is just tab:

This seems really confusing to me. Is this intended behavior?

Btw, the follow keymap seems to fix it:

I am just wondering if it makes sense for this to be the default?

Hey, thanks for the discussion entry! I'll close this as it is a duplicate of this issue #25406, though, where we debated a bit about it and added a new behavior that should improve this. It's coming to Preview this week and Stable on the following.
