Going full screen, ignoring the Notch on macOS

I am interested to find out if there is interest in a full screen mode on macOS that goes true full screen (native) but ignores the fact that the Notch is there. it would look good, and give you back 48 (2x) pixels. I generally don't care about what is under the notch and my experience with Zed is also that there actually is nothing in the top bar in the middle that would be under the Notch.

I realize this is bad UX. But if it is easy to flip some switch with a hidden setting then I would probably use that :-)
