Reproduction steps
Failed to launch
extracting response for asset https://downloads.cursor.com/lab/2026.08.11-e8db854/darwin/x64/agent-cli-package.tar.gz
into "/Users/username/Library/Application Support/Zed/external_agents/registry/cursor/.tmp-github-download-6NunIz"
Was working fine until new version tried to download, can't use it at all now.
It downloads and extracts the files and hangs then the error.
Workaround has been to use custom agent using the installed cursor agent
Current vs. Expected behavior
Should download and install the cursor agent properly. SHould log some form of useful error when it fails.
