I found that this was already mentioned here (#4363). But just as a comment, I'm in the boat as you since I also would like to use keyboard as much as possible and this feature missing is kind of bugging me out. I hope to see this soon! |

Could we get a feature to send tabs to workspaces via keyboard shortcuts?
If I want to change a tab to a different workspace, I need to move the cursor to the tab I want to change, right click it, open the secondary context menu to change the tab to a new workspace, and select the workspace to which I'd like to send the tab.
Currently we can move forward or back a workspace and we can move to workspaces 1 through 10 via shortcuts.
Could we augment this functionality by introducing a keyboard shortcut to change a tab to a workspace as well? For example, if alt+1 switches to workspace 1, could alt+shift+1 send the currently focused tab to workspace 1? Likewise with other workspaces.
I like to use the keyboard as much as possible when browsing, and moving tabs to workspaces with a keyboard shortcut would be game changing when it comes to organizing my tabs.
If this is something that can be attempted, it would be nice to have the option for the view to either follow the tab to the new workspace, or remain on the existing workspace's next tab. Sometimes I want to send multiple tabs to another workspace, and the current functionality switches me to that workspace with the tab I move. I then have to return to the original workspace and repeat the procedure. Tbf though, I guess I could select multiple tabs before clicking "change tab(s) to workspace"
That's it. Thanks for reading this if you read this.
