I don't want to use English when displaying messages to users. How can I globally change the language in toolkit JS code ?

Hey @al5dy , thanks for your question.

Are you looking to choose the language for the text in the user interface, or in the session chat feature?

I mean the text in the user interface. For example, I want this message to be in another language. Or have the entire user interface be in a different language.

Got it, we will add that to the roadmap @al5dy .

Hi @tommygaessler, is it still on the roadmap ? I'm really interested in this feature.

Hey @misterdebug , it is, will be most likely the release after the next one.

Great @tommygaessler, do you already know in what form? A JSON with all the keys to translate, and we would set
language: 'mylanguage' in the config?

Hey @misterdebug , that is exactly how it will work. The good thing is most of the UI Toolkit is icons vs. text, so it will be easy to configure the language.

Hi @tommygaessler, eager to test this. Indeed, I started translating, but if I can avoid modifying the file on my end, that would be even better :)
If it's possible to consider either removing the "UIKit" in the errors messages or replacing "UIKit" with "Information", for example, that would be perfect 👌

Thank you for your suggestion @misterdebug , we will consider this!

Hi @tommygaessler, is there a release date for this feature? Every time I update the package, I have to re-translate the whole UI into my own language, and that's pretty tedious
Thanks :)

Hey @misterdebug , yes, we are planning to include this in the next release, or release after. Stay tuned.

Hey @al5dy , @misterdebug , we released 2.1.0-1, but I was not able to get this request in this release. We are working to include it in an upcoming release. Stay tuned!

Translations would really be helpful. We just started a porting from twilio to zoom and the fact we can't transalte the uiToolkit labels in other language is avoiding us from using it. It would have been a real boost

Thank you for sharing @bUxEE , it is on our roadmap. Stay tuned: https://developers.zoom.us/changelog/ui-toolkit/web/
