#### argNorm mappings updated for CARD and ARO v4.0.0
On 18/12/2024, CARD and ARO were updated to v4.0.0. This brought significant changes to both CARD and the ARO, with 1200+ new beta-lactamase genes being added. argNorm's ARO mappings have now been updated to support CARD & ARO v4.0.0.

> **NOTE: ARO mappings for many ARGs have changed. An ARO mapping from a previous version of argNorm might not be present in the latest ARO or can even point to a completely different gene. Please use outputs from previous versions of argNorm with caution.**

The version of argNorm used for normalization is now added to the top of argNorm tsv outputs when generated using the CLI. For example,
