Why would I add a mail-account, if I don't want to use it?

Dear Ralf,
my use case is the following:
I have:

1. a mail archive application => an EGw application independent from the mail server.
2. a shared mail folder where central mail arrives

...and the following workflow:
When mail arrives in the shared mail folder...

1. users should be able to transfer the mails from the shared mail folder to the mail archive.
2. users should be able to move mail to other specific folders on the mail server
3. BUT users should NOT be allowed to delete mails from the shared folder!

To accomplish the above I use two mail accounts:

1. The first is the regular mail account of the user. This one has only read rights on the shared folder.
2. The second one is a mail account with write access on the shared folder. I am handling this account exclusively from the mail archive application. The user account should be allowed to use it only via the mail archive application, and not directly form the mail ui... because in that case he would be able to delete the mails in the shared folder without any trace.

So in the workflow the user sees the mails via the first mail account and then takes an mail-archive action on this mail. The action it self is executed via the second mail account, to which the user has no direct ui access.

In order to accomplish this scenario I have to hide the second mail account from the mail ui...

Beside that I think that there could be also some other useful cases for that feature.
