🎉 Now Available: Network Storage
Support for self-built WebDAV servers and the following cloud service providers:
- Google Drive
- Microsoft OneDrive
- Dropbox
Support for the following service modes:
- Upload: Only upload, upload local recordings to the cloud, cloud only increases and does not delete.
- Sync: Synchronize the deletion of local recordings to the cloud.
- Bi-directional Sync: Synchronize changes in the cloud to the local as well.
- When performing bi-directional sync for the first time, users need to choose to “Merge” recordings stored locally and in the cloud.
The following service modes are expected to be supported in future versions:
- Archive: Adapt to “Export with Metadata” and “Custom Export Name”, one-way archive of local recordings.

- Enable level metering and present an indicator when the hoverball is folded. This option is only available when the “Transition When Idle” is set to “Always Fold”.

Recording List
- Optimized the delete animation of the recording list.
- Optimized the interaction logic of the app “locked” recording during recording, supporting “discard” or “stop” the ongoing recording from the app.
- The recording list supports two-finger swipe to enter multi-select mode, and the selection mode supports single-finger swipe for multi-selection.
- Fixed the issue of abnormal selection status of the recording list on iPad.
- Fixed the issue of edited recordings appearing repeatedly in the recording list.
- Fixed the issue of “Trim” and “Delete” buttons not being adapted to multiple languages on the recording editing page.
Recording Editor
- Fixed the issue of the waveform not refreshing in some scenarios after editing.
- Fixed the issue of waveform misalignment when switching between portrait and landscape modes on the recording editing page on iPad.
Hoverball (Plus)
- Reset the floating ball when the screen is locked to reduce the chance of the floating ball freezing.
- Fixed the issue of the floating ball frequently losing touch response on iPad.
Mixer & Combiner
- Brand new dual-channel recording mixer and combiner.
- Added descriptions for the “Mixer Audio Format” option.
Shortcuts and URL Scheme
- Optimized the display style of App Intents.
- Optimized the animation effect when waking up app via URL Scheme.

The archiving of recordings for the current month is expected to be supported in future versions.
Recycle Bin
- In the free trial scenario: Added “Recycle Bin” prompt and “Empty Recycle Bin” function on the purchase guide page.
Advanced Options
- Optimized the detection logic of the “Launch Shield” widget when entering “Advanced Options”.
- Automatically trigger the previously interrupted Face or Touch ID authentication when the app is awakened from the background.
Accessibility
- Added multiple pop-up “VoiceOver” reminders.
- Added “Network Storage” related information prompts to the focus on the upper right corner of the settings page.
Developer Options
Shake on the settings page, then tap the text at the bottom and select to open “Developer Options” from the pop-up menu.
- Added “Erase All” maintenance action to facilitate complete uninstallation of Troll Recorder products from the device.
Jailbreak Version
- Fixed the issue of the “App” → “Voice Memos” → “Discreet Mode” function not working in the jailbreak version.
