Give PineAPPL a Logo #349
Conversation
Coloring the word PineAPPL to light yellow doesn't really look good, unless we (perhaps) also color the outer stroke. Dark yellow/orange-ish also doesn't look much better (?) ![]() ![]() ![]() I'd personally think that the previous dark-grey color looks better. But in any case, @cschwan, if you want to play with the color, you can edit the <text

I actually meant the pineapple, which I want a bit more yellow-ish, not the 'PineAPPL' string 😄; I want to color to more reminiscent of the actual fruit! I think having black characters is OK. |
I'm torn between the first and the second one. Can you put the text a few pixels lower and maybe also lower the font size a bit, it looks a bit off. |
I personally like the 1st one the most. that slight orange hue seems the closest to the real thing. |
I also have a slight preference for the first one. I will implement the changes proposed by @cschwan for the first two and then we can make a final choice. |
Can we merge this before QCD@LHC in two weeks? 😇 I'd like to have a slide stressing our open source framework - for which we agreed to put more propaganda |
Yes! I delayed this a bit to wait for the PineAPPL v1 paper 😇 but given that reason I'll try to wrap this up ASAP. |
Given that the logo design is at a somehow mature stage, this PR adds it to the repository.
