Either download from Cachix:

nix-store -r /nix/store/zv6nfza19s14k12mgihp22bhmm1i2zgs-radarr-5.14.0.9383 \
  --option binary-caches 'https://cache.nixos.org/ https://nix-community.cachix.org/' \
  --option trusted-public-keys '
  nix-community.cachix.org-1:mB9FSh9qf2dCimDSUo8Zy7bkq5CX+/rkCWyvRCYg3Fs=
  cache.nixos.org-1:6NCHdD59X431o0gWypbMrAURkbJ16ZPMQFGspcDShjY=
  '

(The Cachix cache is only trusted for this store-path realization.)
For the Cachix download to work, your user must be in the trusted-users list or you can use sudo since root is effectively trusted.

Or, build yourself:

nix-build -A radarr https://github.com/r-ryantm/nixpkgs/archive/100b42f1a53a536e16034da1b16b9a2738019866.tar.gz

Or:

nix build github:r-ryantm/nixpkgs/100b42f1a53a536e16034da1b16b9a2738019866#radarr

After you've downloaded or built it, look at the files and if there are any, run the binaries:

ls -la /nix/store/zv6nfza19s14k12mgihp22bhmm1i2zgs-radarr-5.14.0.9383
ls -la /nix/store/zv6nfza19s14k12mgihp22bhmm1i2zgs-radarr-5.14.0.9383/bin

Pre-merge build results

We have automatically built all packages that will get rebuilt due to
this change.

This gives evidence on whether the upgrade will break dependent packages.
Note sometimes packages show up as failed to build independent of the
change, simply because they are already broken on the target branch.

I tested this.

> nix-shell -p nix-info --run "nix-info -m"
 - system: `"x86_64-linux"`
 - host os: `Linux 6.6.58, NixOS, 24.11 (Vicuna), 24.11pre696981.18536bf04cd7`
 - multi-user?: `yes`
 - sandbox: `yes`
 - version: `nix-env (Nix) 2.24.9`
 - channels(root): `"nixos"`
 - nixpkgs: `/nix/var/nix/profiles/per-user/root/channels/nixos`

I did as the bot suggested nix-build -A radarr https://github.com/r-ryantm/nixpkgs/archive/100b42f1a53a536e16034da1b16b9a2738019866.tar.gz which worked and then I ran the binary sudo /nix/store/zv6nfza19s14k12mgihp22bhmm1i2zgs-radarr-5.14.0.9383/bin/Radarr -nobrowser -data='/var/lib/radarr/.config/Radarr/' and opened Radarr in the browser:

it worked with the new version.

I noticed the bot mentions a failing test passthru.tests, I don't have GPU passthrough and I don't know how to test it.

I'm new to nixos and nixpkgs, but I read that reviewing automatic pr from the bot may be helpful.

The failed passthru test on Intel MacOS is interesting: somehow it seems to depend on append-initrd-secrets, which can't run on that platform. It would take some digging to figure out why that dependency is there.
