How to create a model and calculate XRR

1. Create a new project (File -> New project)
2. In the project tree, select Model 1

3. Add at least one Stack into the model (Main Menu -> Structure -> Add Stack or Structure toolbar -> Add Stack)

4. In the Dialog box, specify the name of the stack, e.g. "Main," and the number of periods (1 by default, for non-periodical structures)

5. Repeat no.4 if you need several stacks.

6. Select a stack with a single click on its title

7. Click "Add layer" or Main Menu -> Structure -> Add layer

8. Fill the form. Click "..." to select a material from the Materials Database

9. Repeat Step 8 as many times as you need:

10. Calculate XRR (Press F5 or select Main Menu -> Calc -> Run or click "Calculate" on the main toolbar
